Reverend Elease W. Davis was born on December 25 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is the second of threechildren, both siblings currently reside in Myrtle Beach. She was married to the late Deacon Robert Davis for 47 years; God has blessed them with two wonderful children a son, Domonick and a daughter Tawana Davis.
Reverend Davis started her spiritual walk with Christ over 39 years ago at Shield Chapel Fire Baptized Holiness (F.B.H.) Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She moved to the Washington, DC area in 1981 and became a dedicated member of Tied Stone F.B.H. Church on the Washington/ Virginia District. She was ordained to preach God's word in 1994, and served in the following capacities on that District: Young People Institute (YPI) Ambassador from
1995-2001; District Reporter from 2001-2002; District Directress of Junior Missionary from 2002- 2006. ReverendDavis was appointed as Junior Pastor, Sunday School Secretary, Senior Missionary Secretary, Trustee Secretary, and Secretary for the YPI. On June 18, 2006, in the General Council of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God ofAmericas, she was elevated to
the position of National Directress of Home Mission of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of Americas. In 2009, she was appointed as the Pastor of Washington Temple F.B.H. Church in Baltimore, Maryland, in which she pastored for 8 years till her husband retirement and relocated to Georgia. She was appointed in November 2019 as Pastor of the Garden of Gethsemane (formally known as Greater Gethsemane) F.B.H. Church in Gainesville, Georgia. She proudly says that GOD gave her 4 members in the mist of a Pandemic.
Reverend Davis attended the Biblical Studies Course held at Evangel Cathedral Church in Upper Marlboro Maryland from 2011-2012. She successfully completed the Course, and received a certificate, from 2015-2016 she attended theKingdom Building Disciples Theological Institute at Matthew Memorial Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and successfully completed and received a Certificate of Theology on the study and teaching of the Holy Bible and promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
