                                             National Directress, Pastor Rosa B. Sutton, Chairlady

                                                                     Third Episcopal Diocese 

                               Reverend Rosa M. Buxton-Sutton was born in Thomasville, North
                             Carolina to Pastor Kenneth and Evangelist Shirley Buxton. She is the
                               youngest of three children. She has two older brothers: Robert Ray
                               and Kenneth Lee. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1994 from
                              Shaw University in Raleigh, NC majoring in Liberal Studies and her
                                Master’s Degree in 2008 from the University of Tennessee with a
                           major in Multicultural Education focused on grades K-6. July 16, 2022
                             she received her Doctorate in Christian Leadership from Christian
                               Leadership University. She is a Certified Life and Mental Health
                                        Coach. She has been blessed with a beautiful family.

 

 

She acknowledged her calling to preach the gospel in 1999 during a revival conducted by the
late National Supervisor Rev. Sadie Lampkin and preached her first sermon January 16, 2000. She has served in many capacities in the Fire Baptized Holiness Church. She has served as the President of the following departments: local Junior Missions, Young People’s Institute, and the Holiness Young People Union, Sunday School Secretary, as well as District Jr. Missionary Directress for seven, and District Supervisor for four years. During her time as District Supervisor of the Western North Carolina District in 2012 she was awarded Supervisor of the Year and WNC District Mr. Young Congress. At the 30th
Quadrennial General Council she was elevated to National Directress of Jr, Missions for the
Third Episcopal Diocese. During the 33rd Quadrennial General Council she was elevated to the
National Jr Missionary Chairlady. On November, 20th, 2022
During the

Third Episcopal Diocese Annual Convention She was appointed the First female Pastor of St. Luke Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas in Forest City, NC 

She believes God’s hand is on her life!

 

 

In 2019 the Lord gave her the vision to connect the Church and Mental Health as a ministry. It is
her desire to see people become WHOLE, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is
important that we minister to the WHOLE man!. For the past three years she has hosted the
Wellness Weekend in the following areas: 2019 Detroit, MI; 2020 Virtual due to Covid-19, and in
2021 Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

She is standing on this principle in Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” She prays daily for guidance and direction. The bible has
commanded us to go into the hedges and highways to compel them to come. It is her deepest
desire to see souls for the Kingdom! Exodus 4:12 “Now therefore go, and I will be with thou
mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.”
